Stiftelsen Siknäsfortet
The fort and facilities in Töre harbor and Morjärv are owned by the Siknäsfortet Foundation. Operations are run by the Siknäsfortet Association.
The foundation's purpose is to preserve and maintain Siknäsfortet, and to ensure that Siknäsfortet's historical and museum values are preserved. The foundation shall increase knowledge and research about Siknäsfortet and the Kalix Line's historical and military-strategic significance as a defense line. As an important cultural-historical part of society, Siknäsfortet shall be made accessible to the public.
The foundation's chairman is Christian Braunstein
The Siknäsfortet Association
The Siknäsfortet Association works to fulfill the goals that the foundation has developed for the preservation of the cultural-historical value that Siknäsfortet represents. This is primarily done through the association running museum operations for the public.
By making the previously secret and invisible visible, the aim is to increase knowledge, understanding and awareness of history's significance for today's societal development for both young and old.
